Our Work

CSO is a young and dynamic niche firm of solicitors set up in 2001 specialising in litigation, such as serious personal injuries and clinical negligence claims. We also represent clients in connection with recovery of care home fees and financial miss-selling claims, especially miss-sold interest swap agreements.

We are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and are also members of the Law Society of England and Wales, and are professionally required to carry multi–million pound professional indemnity insurance, which we have. As a firm of solicitors the rules and regulations of professional conduct are very strict and must be adhered to. We are confident that our strict regulatory requirements and the need for us to take out multi-million professional indemnity insurance, in the very unlikely event that you need to bring a claim against us, will re-assure you and give you peace of mind.

Furthermore, the principal of CSO has spent over 20 years specialising exclusively in civil litigation, with a heavy personal injury bias and has an excellent track record of winning cases other firms turn down or discontinue with. The Principal of CSO , before qualifying as a solicitor, has also worked in the litigation departments of two top ten ‘magic circle firms’ , as well as for a USA law firm in central Manhattan, New York, and some of the largest personal injury firms in the UK.

CSO solicitors include members of Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, Spinal Injury Association, Action for Victims of Medical Accidents and the Medico-Legal Society .

We are a multi-lingual practice and have staff who can speak Polish, Bulgarian, Italian and Gujarati.
Our staff are dedicated and hard working professionals. However, they also realise the importance of ‘giving back’ and charity work. Hence, one colleague recently completed a sponsored charity marathon (26 miles), along with two other colleagues who ran sponsored half-marathons (13 miles). CSO sponsored all three runners and donated money to the Whizz-Kidz foundation. In recent times CSO has also made donations to help for Heroes, Spinal Injury Association and Asian Peoples Disability Alliance.
